A LITTLE CLOSER TO HOME
Good finds. Great neighbors.
Porchlight helps people discover neighborhood sale events and gives hosts a simple place to welcome visitors.
A place for the whole sale.
A Saturday yard sale. A garage full of secondhand treasures. An estate sale or a community event with several households taking part. Porchlight brings these events onto a searchable map across the United States. It is a place to advertise a sale people can visit, rather than a marketplace for separate individual items.
Live listings come from hosts. Availability depends on what people have posted in the area you choose. Sample listings are clearly marked examples, not events to travel to.
Explore at your own pace.
Browsing and regular sale listings are free. Search a city or ZIP code, set your distance, or explore the map visually. Device location is optional. Narrow the results by sale type, dates, and the kinds of things you hope to find, then check a host’s details and hours before heading out.
Share with a little care.
Hosts choose a cover photo of their own or one of the provided defaults. They also choose how to share their location. Approximate location and Direct address labels help visitors understand what to expect. Hosting, saving favorites, and viewing eligible exact destinations require an account.
A host can limit discovery to searches centered within a chosen distance of the sale. Visitors select their own search centers; this setting does not verify where a visitor is physically located.
Keep the neighborhood welcoming.
Respect sale hours, private property, and neighboring driveways. Use a listing’s report option for concerns, or visit Help & contact for answers. The Privacy & safety option on the home page explains the app’s location and data controls.
